"The knee bone's connected to the hip bone" some of us sang as children, and this is indeed true. Hip and knee pain often get the best of us. These two major weight bearing joints bear the brunt of rigorous athletic activities, yard work and gardening as well as standing or sitting for long periods of time. Because the muscles that support the knee are directly related to those of the hip, and vice versa, at Washington Health & Healing, if you have pain in one of these areas, we evaluate not only the painful joint, but the entire leg and how your whole body moves in everyday activities as well.
