Being a teenager has always been difficult, and today it is no easier. While many of us think that a youthful body is a pain free body, many young people will tell you differently.

Athletic involvement often results in injuries that need immediate, successful attention to get your teen back into her or his favorite sport. Lugging around heavy backpacks and sitting in front of the computer often results in back and neck pain. Add these issues to the complications of a growing, changing body that may not get enough rest and, well, no wonder it is hard to get up in the morning!

As a former high school and collegiate athlete, physical therapist Gabrielle Czaja, MPT, mATI is very familiar with the needs of an injured or uncomfortable teenager.

And, as a certified Alexander Technique teacher, she is a highly trained expert in the assessment, treatment and prevention of postural and movement problems to help your teenager be his or her best in and out of school.
